WCC researchers won awards at INATEX 2016

10th October 2016 – Three of WCC researchers won awards for their innovative research products demonstrated during the 18th Industrial Art & Technology Exhibition (INATEX) held on last 4th ­to 6th of October. Dr. Mohd Haizal Bin Jamaluddin’s MIMO dielectric resonator antenna had won the gold award as well as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) Special Award in his maiden participation of the celebrated event.  Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Sharulkamal Bin Abdul Rahim on the other hand had exhibited two different antenna designs for diverse application and had taken a gold and a silver medals for both products. Dr. Bruce Leow Chee Yen was also another silver award recipient with his software defined full duplex relay product.

The INATEX is an R&D exhibition showcasing UTM inventions and innovations. The aim of INATEX is to promote the research findings or products to the public and to identify technology or latest products with potential for commercialization. The event also provide a platform for interaction between UTM researchers and the industry in order to create beneficial networking in the creation of wealth through innovative R&D.
