Dr. Abdulrahman Amuda Yusuf obtained his Bachelor’s (Electrical Engineering) and Master’s (Electrical Engineering) Degrees from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in (1999) and 2005 respectively. He also obtained a PhD (Electrical Engineering) Degree in 2012 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Malaysia. He is currently a Post Doctoral Fellow at Wireless Communication Centre (WCC), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Malaysia. His research interests include wireless mobile systems, radio propagation and rain attenuation studies, especially in the tropics. Abdulrahman, a member of IEEE, has worked on development of a transformation model for inverting terrestrial rain attenuation data for satellite applications at Ku-band in tropical regions. He has published few papers in International Journals related to rain attenuation issues in tropical regions; and has also coauthored few journals in antenna design and measurement.

Dr. Marwah Yousif Ahmed is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow in the Wireless Communication Centre (WCC), Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) since 2011. She obtained her PhD in Telecommunications from UTM in 2011, and Bachelor with first class honor in Electronic Engineering (Communications) from Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST), Sudan in 2005. She has published several scientific papers and conferences. Currently, her research interest is mobile communications, satellite communications, High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS), interference analysis techniques, and spectrum planning.

Dr. Mohsen Khalily was born in Iran in 1983. He received his PhD degree from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2012. The title of his thesis was Design and Development of Broadband and Multiband Dielectric Resonator Antennas for Wireless Communication Systems. His research interest includes the areas of design dielectric resonator antennas, monopole antennas, reconfigurable antennas, slot antennas, microstrip antennas and EBG. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Wireless Communication Center (WCC) at UTM. He published some papers in antenna design and also is a reviewer of some journals and was a committee member of few international conferences.

Dr. Walid A Hassan was born in Iraq in 1981. Currently he is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow, Wireless Communication Centre (WCC), Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He obtained his PhD from University Technology Malaysia in 2012. He earned his master’s degree from the faculty of engineering, University Technology Malaysia. He obtained his BSc from Benghazi university (formerly Garyounis University) in the faculty of electrical and electronic engineering (telecommunications major), Benghazi, Libya. His research interests include spectrum sharing, wireless communications co-existence and compatibility, as well as cognitive radio spectrum-sharing methods.

Dr. Thomas Peter obtained his Bachelor’s (Electrical Engineering) and Master’s (Electrical Engineering) Degrees from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2001 and 2007 respectively. He also obtained a PhD (Electronic & Computer Engineering) Degree in 2012 from Brunel University, West London, United Kingdom. He is currently a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Wireless Communication Centre (WCC), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Malaysia. His research interests include transparent antennas for wireless and UWB communications, and UWB over Fiber (UOF). Thomas Peter is a member of IEEE and comes with a considerable work experience in the PCB, disk drive and semiconductor industries. He has previously worked with Seagate Technology International, Singapore as a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor and Stats ChipPAC Ltd of Singapore as a Senior Engineer before joining academia. He has authored and co-authored a few papers related transparent UWB antennas, and multiband antennas for mobile communications in International Journals as well as conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for IEEE’s Antennas, Wireless and Propagation Letters (AWPL).
